Become a Season Member In Time For 2022 – 2023 Season

Posted: June 2022

Our 90th season offers a musical version of a classic comedy, a political comedy in the winter, followed by another comedy in the spring.

Please join us for three evenings of wonderful entertainment provided by your local community theatre, now celebrating its 90th year! Become a season member by mailing in your order form TODAY! Reserved seats will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis, and all season orders must be postmarked no later than September 1, 2022. Please note that the three matinee performances fill up very quickly, so place your orders SOON. We usually have over 1,000 season subscribers and
the theatre only holds 200 people.

In order to guarantee that season members receive first choice at selecting their seats, you will be choosing your performance dates for the entire season when you turn in your season order form. A confirmation card will be sent by return mail confirming the number of memberships you ordered, the dates you chose, and your specific seat locations for each of those dates. A season membership gives you one admission to each of the three shows. The three admissions cannot be applied to only one of the productions.

There is no need for season members to call in for a seat reservation. No more busy signals and an afternoon of pushing “re-dial” on your phone! When you arrive at the theatre, you will simply come to the will-call table, give us your name, and we will give you your seating card for that performance. Your seat reservation will be held until two minutes prior to the curtain of your performance – then it may be released to those on a waiting list in the lobby.

The deadline for ordering season tickets is September 1, 2022. No season memberships will be sold after that date. If you miss the deadline, you will need to purchase individual seat tickets for each performance.

Do you regularly attend the theatre with a group of friends? If so, you will need to get together and decide on your dates for all the plays. Have one person be in charge and mail in your orders and checks together in the same envelope to guarantee seating as a group. Check our website at www.beloitcivictheatre.org for a “frequently asked questions” section on the “Tickets” page.

If you need to change your selected performance date at any time, you may email the box office at beloitcivictheatre@gmail.com or call 608-362-1595 and leave a message. We will confirm the change of date and new seating location when we get the message. The reservation phone will still be open with “operators standing by” from noon to five p.m. during performance weeks. During this time, we will be taking individual ticket orders and also making date changes for season ticket holders. You may make individual online seat reservations for the next production at any time after the previous production has closed. You
may also make phone reservations for individual tickets for the next show at any time by leaving a message on the box office answering machine.

We offer 3 p.m. matinees on both Saturdays and also on the Sunday afternoon of the first weekend of the show. These are very popular and fill up quickly.

Senior memberships to those who are 60+ are $20, and regular memberships are $25. Single ticket admissions are also available for all our performances. Single tickets to a performance are $10 for all seats. You may pay for your tickets the night of the show with cash or a check or a credit card.

The Elizabeth Reinholz Theatre is located at 1225 Fourth Street in the Beloit Memorial High School building. The theatre entrance is at the south end of the high school, facing Middle Street. The theatre is handicapped accessible. Please let us know if you have special seating needs.

Gift certificates are also available, either for season memberships or for a single show. Call our office at (608) 362-1595 or send an e-mail message to beloitcivictheatre@gmail.com

Donations received at our intermission refreshment table support the BCT scholarships given annually to area high school seniors continuing their studies in the Performing Arts.

The Beloit Civic Theatre annual meeting is held in the spring. All BCT season members are invited for an evening of complimentary food and entertainment. Because our theatre is a membership-based organization, a season member is entitled to vote for our Board of Directors. At the annual meeting our new season is announced and our scholarship winners are introduced. Reservations are necessary. More information will be given in the spring play program and newsletter.

Businesses may consider advertising in the program with a variety of support levels. This may be a single line ad, a boxed ad, or a larger full display ad. If you would like a rate sheet, or have any questions about program advertising, contact Loren Sass at (608) 201-3084 or lorensass@mac.com.
